Sword-shaped cravat pins were all the rage in the 1800s. Alas, it is no longer popular to wear a cravat. However, swords are always in style. Here is a rakish rapier pin made of 12k gold, with an engraved and white enameled grip and guard. The pin has no clasp; simply thrust the blade through the weave of your light fabric of choice. Circa 1860.
Details..... The pin measures 2.26" long, the hilt is .44" wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
